Weekly recap
So this wasn't the best week for me. I ate fast food twice because I just couldn't deal with work stress. I did, at the very least, manage to log it all. I also didn't quite get as much exercise in as I had hoped in my mind but I did get my 3 days in this week which was my original goal. So there is that. Here's the rest of the recap.
Exercise -
Monday - I managed to walk 60 minutes. I didn't have to go into work until 1pm that day thanks to a tropical storm and I decided to take advantage of the extra time I had and start the week off on the right foot (no pun intended). This was 60 minutes of me walking inside my house, however. So pace was off because of the dog wanting to play each time I turned around. It wasn't the best effort, but it was still something.
Tuesday - This is where the week started going a bit sideways at work. We have been under tremendous pressure the last few months with getting laptops out for working from home purposes that other duties have fallen by the wayside and we are now burdened with having to get rid of a ton of inventory. So I counted 90 minutes of lugging large computers around. I did haul every single one and moved it, so I'm definitely counting that as my exercise
Wednesday - nothing
Thursday - 2 hours and 17 minutes worth of tennis practice. The first time I've picked up a racquet in 3 months. It wasn't pretty but it ended up being a good practice. On a personal level, I'm still a little hesitant regarding the whole social distancing thing to be playing tennis right now but I did sign up for this season and I'll at the very least see it played out. (It also helps that this was the first season I've ever gone 2-0 and I wanted to see where this year would have taken us). So far only 2 teams out of the 10 had dropped out due to not being able to come back and finish the season. So we have roughly 6 or 7 weeks to finish this season out. This will be at least 2 times per week that I'll be playing tennis so I'm happy to be back on the courts again albeit reluctantly. I do love those tennis calorie burns though.
Food - As I mentioned above, I did eat out twice, but that wasn't for a lack of planning. I actually meal prepped the crap out of the week and had been more or less faithful to it.
So I'm kinda chicken and porked out at the moment. I do have a beef pot roast and veggies that I'm planning on throwing in the crock pot today for lunches this week. I'll get that started here shortly.
It wasn't the best of weeks but it wasn't the worst of weeks. So I'll call this a moderate victory with a hesitation.
Other stuff of note, which isn't really much, but my car has been dimming the lights intermittently on the inside. Went to my favorite mechanic (my daddy) and he found that the battery had a lot of corrosion on it. After a coke and a wire brush and some water to clean it off, my car seems to be in proper working order again! Also, I'm gagging at the thought that I now have to drink the rest of the cokes I bought especially after seeing what it does to eat away at the corrosion. If that isn't incentive to get off of them again, I don't know what is.

Last but not least, I chuckled way too hard at this yesterday.
How was your week? Tell me all about it in the comments!

I would definitely call your week a success! Not what you envisioned as perfection...but I think successful nonetheless! You did do a heck of a food prep didn’t you???
