Mid-Week Roundup
I'm totally on a 2 day streak with exercise! I cannot even begin to tell you the last time that happened. (Maybe 2016...?)
Anyways, it has not been much; but it's better than nothing.
Yesterday I did a fitness blender youtube video 30 minute workout and today I got a mild inspiration and decided to google see if I can find any walking through Disney World videos and lo and behold, there are!
On a side note, I am the most uncoordinated person in the world when it comes to fitness videos but hers were very easy to understand and follow even if I looked like a baby giraffe trying to learn to take her first steps. Worked up a nice sweat also!
The Disney Video I found was on The DIS's youtube channel and it was a 4K walkthrough of Galaxies Edge in Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World! I thoroughly enjoyed marching in place and pretending I was there, all the while soaking up my A/C. It's been blistering hot here - 95º today so it will be a bit before I can pick up the mantle and walk outdoors. Especially since I can't manage to wake up early to do it before work.
I also wanted to find a station that had other videos of walking in touristy vistas and found a channel called 4K Urban Life. They have a section devoted to just walking tours so I'll be exited to check those out and release my inner travel geek (since I can't go anywhere right now anyways.... thanks covid!)
Oh the weigh in has not been fun. I'm up 3 pounds. It honestly isn't much of a surprise given all the birthday festivities this month (in my immediately family we have mine, then my Aunt's a week later and this weekend is my dad's). So 3 in a row. I am trying to make better choices to offset the cake. I keep reminding myself it's all baby steps it it will become easier once I'm more established into a routine with both exercise and food. I'm getting there! Even if the scale isn't!
Let's see what else is new, oh! My kid is amazing and got me some new shoes for my birthday and I am in love with them. They remind me of a QR code.
Last but not least, here are 3 images of how my Tuesday night went. I had planned a nice, healthy meal of turkey wraps with wheat tortillas and turned my back for a few seconds. Well, you can imagine what happened next:

That little guilty face!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the walking video ideas. I'm in the last week of a work steps challenge and our daily thunderstorm has been hitting during the time I have to walk. That might fit the bill and help me not feel like I'm letting my team down.
Yeah it was a pleasant surprise find! I bet if you can dig a little deeper more locations can be found too!
DeleteLol to your food...he looks so stinkin’ cute!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea with the walking videos...I never thought!!!!!!
Thanks he is quite the little stinker!
DeleteLove the walking tours, I'll have to try some of them. You really can find anything on YouTube lol.
ReplyDeletePoor guy, just wanted a bite. 😁
Thanks for visiting my blog!
You are very welcome! Yeah I'm definitely going to utilize those walking tours for a bit while quarantine is still ongoing!
DeleteLove love love the shoes!! Oooh and those area walk-throughs...I'm going to have to check that out for sure! I hear you on the workout videos - soooo uncoordinated over here, too! It's rather comical sometimes! Great job with keeping a workout consistency. Sometimes I feel like that's the hardest part!
ReplyDeleteI am truly grateful that no one is secretly videoing me while doing them.... I'd make America's Funniest Home Videos for sure!
