Not much to report lately

I am still trucking along.
I can tell now that the way my body is, may be the way I lost before.  3 weeks of fluctuation and then BAM, a loss.   I'm not counting it officially until Wednesday, so we will see.  That's what the scale said when I peaked at it this morning.

I'm sort of laying low at the moment due to a staph infection.  So I'm pumping the antibiotics and ointment and not really doing much activity wise.  I did have tennis twice last week.  I am itching (*after re-reading, I'm guessing itching may not be the most wise choice of word here.  LOL) to start walking again soon but we've got rain in our forecast several days next week.  I may just end up marching in place.  I did come across this link, that may be fun to change things up and watch these Disney run/walks through the various parks.

I have not been quite as faithful at logging my food though, but I am eating smaller portions and if muscle memory serves, everything that I am eating still should fall within my caloric range.  I'm not sweating that too much right now.  I know I can't gorge myself on Ben & Jerry's.  Maybe a bite here and there, but not the whole pint.

Alas, that's my report for the day.  Since this is light on information, here's a few pics of what's been happening the last 2 weeks.

OH! I did finally watch Hamilton on Disney Plus.  It totally blew me away and lived up to the hype!

3 animals in one pic.  Doyle is in the background between Loki and Ollie.

I did reorganize my workout/athletic wear.  I boxed all the L and XL items (I'm hoping that I'll be reopening that box again soon. But for now, I just need all that I can fit into at the moment instead of wading through 20-30 tank tops that make me look like the Michelin Man.

This was a crock pot kit that I got from Wal-mart.  It was a pork roast buried under all the potatoes and carrots and it actually was very tasty!  It stretched out for a whole week!  I'll definitely be doing that again.

Hope everyone is doing well out there in this heat and had a safe and wonderful 4th!

  1. Yay to a ‘possible official loss!’ I can’t wait to hear that you have officially lost!

Yuck to the staph infection. Been there, done that and just recently and I have a nice new red scar...I’m hoping that fades! And like you, I backed off exercise for the most part while that was really raging!!!

    Good job on the eating!!!
