New Year, New Me; blah blah
I've never been a fan of resolutions. It usually just ends up making me feel like a failure by March. But I want this time to be different. It has to be. I am 50 years old now and back at my highest weight range.
What I'm doing:
- I've started logging my food in Lose It app again. As much as I hate to do it, they've made it easier than ever. Not only can you scan barcodes of food, you can also speak into the app to log the food. Can't get much easier than that.
- 30 minutes of deliberate exercise. My weapon of choice will be walking. Anything else I do, will be lagniappe. I've got to get the consistency roots to take hold, then I can concentrate on other things.
- Make at least one blog post per month. This one will be a bit trickier because, frankly, I forget about it.
I'm sure I'll be adding to this eventually but for now, it's a start; albeit a small one.
I'm planning on doing a start post tomorrow of where I'm at. I feel like I do way to many of those and lack the follow through. This time needs to be different.
Excuse the nasty pool. That's a spring goal down the line. We have to evacuate all the turtles first too. My girl, Izzy loves joining me on my walks, even if it is just lapping around the pool.
