Erm, Hi There
So, its been a minute, eh?
Life is weird like that. You blink and its a year later and so much has happened. You get older, more content and along with that, lazy. And you gain weight. And by you, I mean me.
It's bad. Really bad.
I stepped on the scale for the first time in ages a week ago. 257.8. A new all time high.
Along with the scale, I've been wearing size 3X shirts and 24W pants. I saw everything creeping up and told myself each step, I need to reign this in and no more buying new clothes. And well, that didn't happen.
The plan:
So I've been logging my food consistently for a week now through the LoseIt! app. I've been debating with myself on if I want to pay for the premium and I think I will do so soon. That way it will also allow for extra logging things like water and syncing up with Fitbit too.
Speaking of fitbit, I'm moving around a bit more than I have been. Its been hot and my work no longer allows walking inside the building for covid purposes so I am having to use other means for exercise. I did manage to get out one day before it became scorching for exercise. We have had a tremendous amount of rain lately and my boyfriend's pool has taken a hit. We are trying to get it back in shape so hopefully I will be able to start doing laps this afternoon,
I'm also trying to be more conscious of drinking water and this week has been a huge improvement on that.
After 1 week of being mindful, amazingly enough I stepped on the scale this morning and it was 252.2!
Amazing what paying attention what goes into your body will do. Now to slowly increase movement!
It's been a year of self-fulfillment, happiness and life going in the right direction. Now its time to get the weight under control.
I know it's only been a week but I am finally feeling motivated again. Now I just want and need the accountability. Hopefully I'll be more consistent with posting. I've missed it.
