Still at it!

So things are still trucking along here.  I'm still logging my food and getting exercise in when I can.  I can definitely feel my mindset changing.  I'm more aware about what I'm eating and even if I go over my allotted calories I still log it.

Still not a lot of scale movement though but I think that will come soon.  After the initial 5 lb loss, things have gone stagnant.  But that is how it always is with me.  I'll be the same for roughly 3 weeks and then bam, drop 3-4 lbs.  That was tragically accurate and incredibly frustrating when I lost the 70 pounds in 2013/2014.

Not much else going on here.  It's just hot.  So freaking hot.  Hoping with the pool to start swimming laps regularly soon so that will be a nice bump in exercise.  I am also walking more and even hit my Fitbit Steps a few days a week.  Baby steps but small progress for me will eventually snowball into big progress.  That's another reason why I'm not jumping in full steam ahead. I HAVE to start slow or else I'll fail.  I've done that 1,563,872 times before in the past.   Slowly bringing things into the mix has always been my best way of weight loss.

For now my focus has been logging and making small changes.

  2. Baby steps are still steps in the right direction! Love the current mindset. I cannot wait to get back there myself!
